Crewe: railway town

There are tracks but I've not seen any trains in what I always believed to be the centre of the UK railway network

This fella helped me to eat my breakfast this morning. He lives in a 1950's themed cafe frequented by unemployed and poor students. Its close to the height of sophistication in this town where big decisions are about whether to first make the teacakes or to boil the kettle for the tea.

Have managed 25 flat miles this morning since leaving that dodgy place the Raven motel last night. The remainder of the day should also be flat.

Talking of flat, I've managed to pick up my first puncture in the rear tyre. Again, I've been lucky because I was close to a bike shop and have taken this opportunity to replace my rear tyre.

For the record, this is where I am:

  1. Paul, don't know if you got my last comment, but it now looks as if you are moving too fast! You might not have heard that a civil war has just kicked off in Scotland. Time to turn around. They won't let you in. Please collect a stick of Blackpool rock for me and come home.

  2. Paul!

It seems that you are visiting all the bicicles shops in the UK.

Did you tell me once when I was little that your bicicles were the best?

Ha ha! We are following you all the way there and all the way back! Come on you can do it!!

    Love
