Today was bad! Started with a drop of flu, then 30 miles in, the rear rack sheared its mounting bracket from the frame. Then it poured and became cold.
The positives were that a kindly undertaker took my bags, tent and rack to Durness and I may be able to fix everything in the morning. It is very reassuring that so many people are willing to help out in my time of need. God Bless the Scots!
