After yesterdays calm lulled me into a false sense of security, it's normal service resumed today. Easterly winds carrying heavy rain from 8:00 - 9:15, then the really wet rain arrived - horizontal and by the pail-load.
As a diversion, I happened across this old chapel and decided to take a couple of shots - probably 5/600 years old, remaining outer walls ~2.5 meters thick at the base. It had to be tough to survive this place! ( http://maps.blackberry.com/?lat=57.30255&lon=-7.38546&z=0&label=Where+I+Am
)
Currently, the rain has stopped and wind is doing a great job of drying me. Not convinced I should break out the suntan lotion yet though !
