As I'm typing, I've just passed Bodmin Parkway. Didn't get much sleep, but these sleepers sure as hell beat chairs! As we pull into Lostwithiel I see the ground is wet. The great British Summer has deserted us - again. It's very green here.
This is me and the bike at Penzance seafront. I was hugely encouraged on the ride to the station last night. A minor problem with the front panniers excepted, we were gliding and there wasn't much of a difference to my normal journey in terms of effort. Handling is more sollid though. Let's see if I'm still crowing after a couple of hills !
Onwards and onwards...
